International Day for Eradication of Poverty

Today is International Day for Eradication of Poverty. The Day presents an opportunity to acknowledge the effort and struggle of people living in poverty, a chance for them to make their concerns heard, and a moment to recognize that poor people are the first ones to fight against poverty.

In an exclusive interview with AIR News, Deputy Resident representative of UNDP India, Nadia Rasheed said, poverty is multidimensional and the people living in poverty experience  different forms of deprivations and it is important for us to address all of them.
