Gold rose 365 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange today for April contracts. The precious metal was trading at around 58,370 rupees per 10 gram. Silver was also up 715 rupees to trade around 67,250 rupees per kilogram for May Contracts, when reports last came in.
At the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was trading up at 1,955 dollars and 30 cents per ounce. Similarly, silver was trading at 22 dollars and five cents per ounce in intra-day trade, when reports last came in.
