Gold prices today rose 135 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for June contracts. The precious metal was trading at 60,330 rupees per 10 grams. On the other hand, silver fell 190 rupees to trade at 71,970 rupees per kilogram for July Contracts when reports last came in.
In the global markets, gold was trading up at 2,000 dollars and 50 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange while silver was down to trade around 23 dollars and 55 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
