In Commonwealth Games 2022 at Birmingham, Sanket Sargar clinched Silver by winning the men’s 55kg weightlifting event today. He lifted a total of 248kg (113 snatches, 135 clean & jerk) to take the second spot. Interestingly, after dedicating his medal to the freedom fighters, weightlifter Sanket's Silver medal will be displayed at a family-run tea stall, says his father Mahadev.
