COVID-19 test positivity rate drops to 10.42 % in Kerala

The Covid positivity rates in Kerala offers a sigh of relief as the Test Positivity Rates dropped to 10.42 per cent. 9246 cases were tested positive in the past 24 hours. State capital Thiruvananthapuram records the maximum number of cases. 10,952 recoveries were reported in total. 96 more deaths were confirmed, taking the aggregate death toll to 26,667 in the state. 95,828 people are currently undergoing treatment within the state.

State Government eases procedures regarding the issuing of death certificates for Covid deaths. Certificates will be made available at the nearest Government hospitals or primary health centres. Application status of death certificates can be verified through covid19.kerala.gov.in
