Asian shares trade mixed with majority of Asian stocks pulling back from 3-week high dragged by Chinese stocks

Asian shares today traded mixed. Majority of Asian stocks pulled back from a three-week high dragged by Chinese stocks. However, investors were focused on upcoming company earnings for more signs of a global economic recovery.

South Korea’s KOSPI gained 0.3 per cent and Japan's Nikkei-225 added 0.1 per cent. On the other hand, Hong Kong's Hang Seng plunged 0.9 per cent while Singapore's Straits Times and China’s Shanghai Composite index, both fell 0.4 per cent.
 
European stocks were also up in intra-day trade. London’s FTSC-100 appreciated 0.8 per cent, France’s CAC was trading 0.3 per cent up and Germany's DAX added 0.1 per cent.
