1208 candidates left in fray for final phase of Bihar assembly elections

In Bihar, 1208 candidates are left in fray for the third and Final Phase of assembly elections in 78 assembly segments spread over 15 districts.
 
Out of 1249 valid nominations, 41 candidates withdrew their names on the last date of withdrawal of candidature. Polling will be held on 7th November in this phase. On the other hand, 7 candidates are left in fray for the Valmiki Nagar Lok Sabha constituency bye-poll. The polling will be held for this parliamentary seat simultaneously with the third phase of assembly elections.
 
With 28 candidates Muzaffarpur assembly constituency has maximum number of candidates. Dhaka, Triveniganj, Jokihat and Bahadurganj assembly constituencies have a minimum number of candidates with 9 contestants in each assembly segment.
