Two JeM associates arrested in south Kashmir's Pulwama district

In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Awantipora Police in south Kashmir's Pulwama district arrested two terrorist associates of terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad today. They have been identified as Bilal Ahmad Chopan resident of Wagad Tral and Mursaleen Bashir Sheikh resident of Chatlam Pampore.

As per the investigations, they were providing logistic support, shelter besides transporting arms and ammunition to the terrorists in the Pampore & Tral area. They were also found involved in passing sensitive information to the terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit. Incriminating material has also been recovered from their possession. Cases under relevant sections of law have been registered at police station Tral and police station Pampore respectively.

Further investigation was in progress till the last reports came in. Details are awaited.
