Government today said that the active cases of COVID-19 in the country is less than one fourth of the total cases, which is around 10,50,000. The Health Ministry in a tweet said, the gap between recovered cases and active cases is progressively growing wide. More than 36 lakh COVID patients have recovered and discharged.

The Ministry said, Centre-led COVID management strategies have focused on early detection through widespread, easy and aggressive testing, standardised quality and effective treatment in hospitals and supervised home isolation and reducing mortality.
