Asian and European stocks fell today after sell-off in US Bank shares. As far as Asian indices are concerned, Hong Kong's Hang Seng tumbled 3.1 percent, Singapore's Straits Times declined 1.8 percent, Japan's Nikkei-225 slipped 1.7 percent, China's Shanghai Composite shed 1.4 percent and South Korea's Kospi fell one percent.
In European stocks, London's FTSE-100 was the biggest loser in intra-day trade, slipping 1.8 percent. Germany's DAX declined 1.4 percent and France's CAC-40 was trading 1.3 percent down when reports last came in.
