Gujarat and Chhattisgarh have been paired under the NDA Government's ambitious scheme Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. Many activities are organized by both the states to understand the art, culture as well as education, literature and administrative experience. According to Our Raipur Chhattisgarh and Gujarat Police personnel visited each other's states and understood the functioning under Ek Bharat-Shreshtha Bharat.
Fifteen police personnel from the state of Chhattisgarh visited Gujarat recently under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat scheme. On the other hand, 15 police personnel from Gujarat went on a tour of Chhattisgarh. During this, these policemen went to various police stations to get information about the functioning of that state and also shared their functioning with the local police. These policemen also learned about crime registration and crime investigation techniques in police stations of different cities. An agreement has been signed between the Government of Gujarat and Chhattisgarh to understand the functioning of police administration. This will not only improve the coordination between the police of both the states, but will also provide an opportunity to improve their functioning by understanding the good things about each other's functioning.
