Senior BJP leader & Prime Minister Narendra Modi came down heavily against Congress on Monday. In his attack against Congress, PM alleged that Congress signifies corruption, loot and appeasement politics and BJP means development and a strong Bharat. He noted that 25 crore people were brought above the poverty line during his tenure in the country. He informed that 75 lakh people benefitted from Ayushman Bharat free medical treatment, 40 lakh poor women were given LPG gas connection and nine lakh people got houses in Karnataka. He assured that in the next term of five years, all the eligible persons will be covered under various social welfare schemes of the Central government. He also pointed out that after 10 years of his governance, the country is today recognised for its green corridors, expressways, Vande Bharat and NAMO Bharat trains, high speed internet, UPI and Metro services.
