In Madhya Pradesh, seven members of a family died after the collapse of a wall due to continuous rain in Datia district today. District Collector Sandeep Makin said that the incident occurred when a 400-year-old wall of the Rajgarh Fort collapsed in the Khalkapura locality. The wall fell on two kutcha houses, burying nine members of the same family. Two people have been rescued following the operation. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav expressed grief over the incident and announced that compensation of 4 lakh rupees would be given to the families of the deceased.
