The 5th All India Conference of Government Railway Police (GRP) Chiefs, coordinated by Railway Protection Force (RPF), successfully concluded today in New Delhi. In a statement, the Railways Ministry said that the event brought together senior officials and security leaders to deliberate on passenger safety, crime mitigation strategies and critical manpower requirements for enhanced railway security. Speaking at the occasion, Chairman of the Railway Board Satish Kumar, emphasized the importance of a collaborative approach between the GRP and the RPF in ensuring the safety of railway passengers. He also appreciated the efforts of RPF for ensuring the protection of women and children in railways through various initiatives including Operation Nanhe Farishte, Operation AAHT and Meri Saheli.
