All five major Asian indices traded in the negative territory today. Korea’s Kospi plunged 1.23 percent, China’s Shanghai Composite Index declined 0.81 percent, Japan’s Nikkei fell 0.73 percent, and Singapore’s Straits Times Index lost 0.12 percent. India’s Gift Nifty ended with a marginal fall of 0.03 percent.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index was not trading today due to the issuance of typhoon signals.

Major European Indices were also trading in negative territory. Germany’s DAX shed 0.44 percent, London’s FTSE was trading 0.19 percent lower, and France’s CAC 40 slipped 0.15 percent when reports last came in.
