4th edition of Lok Manthan concludes in Hyderabad

The 4th edition of the Lok Manthan has concluded with a call for a deeper connection to knowledge grounded in dharma, to reclaim Bharat’s civilisational ethos and assert its unique approach to global challenges.

The 4-day event brought together intellectuals, cultural icons, and delegates from across the world, reaffirming the country’s role as Viswa Guru in the modern era.

Speaking in the presence of several Union Ministers at the valedictory, RSS Sar Sangh Chalak Mohan Bhagwat emphasized that while the world races ahead without contemplating its destination, Bharat has always reflected on the deeper truth of unity and oneness.

He stated that there is no need to respond to those whose experiments have failed over the last two thousand years and the country’s focus should be on guiding the people, those entangled in false narratives or countering them. On the global stage, India will play by its predefined parameters and in its unique way.

Earlier, Union Finance Minister and BJP senior leader Nirmala Sitharaman highlighted Bharat’s unmatched ability to preserve its unity amidst historical challenges. Stating that the native tribes of Europe, Canada, Australia, and Egypt have been persecuted and continue to struggle for equality, she said, India’s Itihasas and Puranas celebrate the oneness of Vanavasi, Gramavaasi, and Nagaravaasi.

She opined that the vision of inclusivity has kept the country’s civilisation intact. She said Indian civilisation has survived against many invasions as the principles of dharma guide the generations.

Union Culture Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat reflected on the distortions in Indian history, even during post-Independence. He said the people of the country missed the opportunity to reclaim their roots after Independence. However, he said the people are finally on the path to rediscover their original thought and way of life.

Union Coal Mines Minister G. Kishan Reddy lauded the participation and cultural richness showcased at Lok Manthan 2024. He emphasized the importance of such platforms in uniting Bharat and inspiring action for the nation’s progress.
