Four out of five major Asian indices ended higher today. China’s Shanghai Composite Index and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index surged nearly four percent, South Korea’s Kospi advanced more than one percent, and Japan’s Nikkei rose more than half percent. Meanwhile, Singapore’s Straits Times Index declined nearly half percent.

Major European Indices were trading in positive territory. France’s CAC 40 added nearly one and a half percent, Germany’s DAX was trading more than half percent up, and London’s FTSE increased 0.2 percent when reports last came in.
