In a second edition of GeoMandu 2024, geotechnical engineers, geoscientists, professionals, and researchers from around the world participated in the International conference organised by the Nepal Geotechnical Society. The focus of the conference was a discussion on Geotechniques for sustainable infrastructure. Lectures on civil engineering advances that have shifted towards the creation of sustainable, resilient, and environmentally conscious infrastructure driven by global dynamics, urbanisation, and climate change were delivered. Keynote speakers from the USA, India, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, New Zealand, Australia and Kazakhstan shared their expertise in a two-day-long conference.
