Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal today informed Lok Sabha that 29 main cases were pending for adjudication before the Supreme Court in the form of Constitution Bench cases till the 20th of this month. In a written reply, he said out of these 29 cases, 18 cases are pending before the 5-Judge Bench, 6 cases are pending before 7-Judge Bench, and 5 cases are before 9-Judge Bench for adjudication. Mr. Meghwal said the adjudication and disposal of cases are within the exclusive domain of the judiciary. He added that the Government has no role in the matter.
