A total of 264 candidates are in the fray for the fifth phase of Lok Sabha polls in Maharashtra. According to Chief Electoral Officer, 37 contestants withdrew their nominations on the last day of the filing nomination papers in 13 constituencies of the state yesterday. The CEO stated that after scrutiny, the applications of 301 candidates were found valid.

These 13 seats will go to polls on 20th May.
