The government has said that 228 infrastructure projects worth 15 lakh 89 thousand crore rupees have been evaluated by the Network Planning Group of PM GatiShakti. Prime Minister Narendra had launched the PM GatiShakti National Master Plan in 2021 to bring synergy and synchronisation in planning infrastructure. Addressing a press conference in New Delhi today, Additional Secretary of Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) Rajeev Singh Thakur said the PM GatiShakti initiative has reduced the logistics costs of projects and improved overall performance. He said, during the last three years, 44 Central Ministries and all the states and Union Territories have been onboarded on PM GatiShakti.
