In Kannur in Kerala, a youth who had returned from Abu Dhabi had tested positive for Mpox. The 24 year old Wayanad native was admitted to the Pariyaram Medical College Hospital in Kannur with Mpox symptoms. A special team of doctors and other staff has been assigned to take care of him. Meanwhile, another youth from Thalassery, who returned from Dubai with Mpox symptoms, is also admitted to the Pariyaram Medical College. His sample has been sent for testing.
