A two-day community radio conference for western states will begin today in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is being organised by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in association with the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi. The theme of the conference is Celebrating Twenty Years of Community Radio in India. The participants are community radio stations (CRS) from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. The conference will discuss issues concerning CRS.
