In Ladakh, 18th Edition of CEC Ice Hockey Championship kicked off yesterday at Leh. Ice Hockey is one of the prestigious winter Sporting event in Ladakh. It is organised under natural weather conditions in freezing temperatures. Series of Ice Hockey tournaments are held during the winter months and are organised by civilian, defence and locals due to its popularity among the masses from the past three decades. Every winter, the water bodies are converted into the ice rink as the prevailing freezing temperatures are made possible manually without any technical intervention.In this ongoing CEC  Ice Hockey Championship 16 teams  including 6 teams of Women are participating in the CEC Ice Hockey Championship.
