17 pilgrims from Gujarat stranded in rain and land sliding in Kedarnath rescued successfully

As many as 17 pilgrims from Gujarat who were stranded in rain and land sliding in Kedarnath were successfully rescued. The official release said after the intervention by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, and the Gujarat State Emergency Operation Centre, an immediate rescue operation was carried out in consultation with the Rudraprayag District Control Room and as soon as the atmosphere cleared, all these pilgrims of Gujarat were airlifted by helicopter to a safe place within a few hours. Our correspondent reports that all the pilgrims were from the Aravalli district who went on a pilgrimage to Kedarnath Dham.
