In Arunachal Pradesh, 16 out of the 27 districts have been declared malaria-free. This was informed by the state’s Deputy Director of Health Services-cum-State Programme Officer, Dr. K.T. Mulung while addressing the World Malaria Day 2025 event at Naharlagun today. He said this is a significant achievement for the state’s public health department. He reiterated that the department is committed to achieve a malaria-free Arunachal Pradesh by 2027.
In addition to this, East Kameng District Administration, also organized a Bike rally to create awareness regarding Malaria at its district headquarter Seppa today.
The District Administration in a social media post informed that zero cases of malaria patients have been reported in the last 3 years in the district.
