The 14th Hockey India Congress was held today in Lucknow with the participation of representatives from all 31 state member units.  Hockey India President Dr. Dilip Tirkey, Secretary General Bhola Nath Singh, and Treasurer Sekar J. Manoharan were present in this congress to discuss shaping the future of Indian hockey and reinforcing the collective vision for the sport’s growth and development.

Yesterday, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, met with Hockey India officials and emphasised the state’s historic significance in hockey. He highlighted the state’s initiatives, including the construction of the Major Dhyan Chand Sports University in Meerut and plans to develop KD Singh ‘Babu’s ancestral home into a memorial.
