A total of 113 leaders, including many veterans of Rajasthan Congress, joined BJP today. These include former MPs, MLAs and leaders who rebelled against BJP and contested the elections. Former Congress MP from Hanumangarh Shankar Pannu, former Congress MLA from Pilani JP Chandeliya, former State Vice President of JJP and former MLA Nandkishore Mahariya joined the BJP in the presence of Rajasthan co-in-charge of BJP, Vijaya Rahatkar at the State BJP headquarters in Jaipur. While talking to the media, Shankar Pannu, who left Congress and joined BJP, targeted former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
