Mercury dips in Uttarakhand after snowfall in higher reaches of state

In Uttarakhand, mercury has dipped following snowfall in higher reaches of the state. Snowfall lashed Char Dham Shrine and other places located in the higher reaches and light to moderate rainfall was experienced in foothills and plains.

Director Met Department Vikram Singh said that western disturbance over the state resulted in the change of weather.
